Counting my blessings

What are you thankful for?
I don't show appreciation often enough, so on this blustery winter day, I wanted to take some time to count my blessings.
I'm thankful for my (fairly) healthy body and my active mind.
I'm thankful for my supportive, if sometimes skeptical, family.
I'm thankful for my loving, though sometimes impatient, friends.
I thank my lucky stars for my dormful of great residents.
I'm thankful for the house I live in, the clothes I wear, the money I spend recklessly.
I'm utterly grateful for all the luck I've had in my 20 years of existence.
I'm thankful that I'm not blind (yet), for my eyes can see all that surrounds me and be appreciative of the good and hopeful for the bad.
There's so much more I could write on this subject, but for some reason, it just doesn't feel appropriate for a blog. Some things deserve to stay private - I hope you'll understand.
And I'll ask again - what are you thankful for?
