Travels

I depart for Korea in less than 48 hours! I'll be traveling with my dad, my oldest sister Jane, and her boyfriend John. My other sister, Susie, will be picking us up from the airport. Lucky her, getting up at such a god-awful hour on a Saturday :D

I leave LAX on Friday, June 29th at 12:30am, and arrive in Korea on June 30th at 4:45am - while traveling, I lose a day.

Saturday and Sunday will be spent in Seoul. We may or may not see family; we'll probably do some shopping. At some point, I want to get my hair straightened - that'll take a good 3 hours.

On Monday, Jane, Susie, John, and I will fly to Jeju, an island off the coast of South Korea, while my dad meets up with family. We'll spend the day there, probably hiking around. We fly back out on Tuesday and arrive in Busan; we'll meet my dad there. There, we'll probably take a tour. Wednesday, we'll rent a car and go to Gyeongju; I think I have family there. Thursday morning, we may spend more time in Gyeongju, and then either go to Busan or Goseung by car. Friday, we'll go back to Seoul. We depart on Saturday, July 7, and arrive back at LAX on Saturday.

I'll probably be journaling in a spiral-bound notebook for most of the trip, which I'll eventually post here or on Facebook when I get back. :D

I don't know how often I'll be on the internet while I'm in Korea, so I'll post my first "travel log" now. Check back in about a 1.5 weeks for my complete log!
