To the left, to the left

The entire left side of my body is one giant mess. I've thought this for a while now, but this came up in conversation with KLo last night because of a shooting pain in the left side of my lower back.
My left eye's vision is about 2 points more negative than my right eye. I twisted my left ankle at around this time last year, and it still bothers me - it isn't nearly as flexible as my right, and flexing it tends to aggravate the muscles. I sprained my left wrist not too long ago, and I don't even know how I did it, but it too still twinges and aches (thank goodness I'm not left-handed, but typing tends to be problematic on my more achy days - such as today, the day before an essay is due).
And now, my back. I can't bend forward and I can't lean backwards, without sending a sharp jolt of pain through my lower back. I've popped two ibuprofen pills, since taking just one last night before bed did absolutely nothing. I hoped to sleep it off, but it's still very much there.
Which side of the brain is math-minded?

All by myself

Don't wanna be all by myself anymore!
Ha, okay, enough of the emo crap. I am alone though, here in my building. It's amazing how quiet it is when you're the only person around the Sixth College ResHalls. And how many bunnies are out and about when no idiot humans are around to terrorize them. They're adorable - I counted four cottontails just relaxing in the Quad, hoovering up some fresh, damp grass and not being chased senseless. Must be a nice vacation for them, too.
I'm sick. How obnoxious is it to be sick during the first week of winter break? Oh well, better now than during finals.
I'm spending a week in SD again, to work. I might also be coming back a week early because, as deathly quiet as it may be, I really can't stand being home for a long stretch of time anymore. I don't even consider Downey "home" - I haven't for a while now. It'll be nice to see old friends, but I'll be good after a week. I'm only staying home longer just for Christmas, New Year's, and my mom's birthday (Jan. 2). After that, I'll say that I have work to do, and come back.
I really do, too. I have to take care of some housekeeping for my building, and LJS&C would be glad to have me back nice and early.
Man I can't wait to quit that place. But that's another post.
